Looking to take date night to new heights?! Summit One is NYC’s newest (and highest) immersive experience. Nestled into 4 stories of the tallest view point in midtown Manhattan, this multi-sensory, interactive journey offers guests the best views Manhattan has to offer through ceiling to floor glass windows; complemented by mirrors, lights, sounds, and art instillations to put you into another dimension.
If you’re really looking for the full experience, be sure to check out the glass sky boxes and the “Ascent” elevator at the end of the exhibit. This is the world’s largest, fully glass elevator, that takes you up 1,200 feet over New York City. Apres is a Nordic-themed cafe that offers light bites and cocktails connected to the open-air terrace part of this exhibit. The perfect night cap after an amazing experience.
This spot offers the best views for a romantic date night, an exciting day out with friends or family while visiting NYC, or the most unique spot to capture some cool pictures (*cough cough @ my influencer friends*). A definite must when visiting NYC!
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
Tickets: can be purchased through their website, and it is recommended to get them ahead of time, as time slots fill up quickly. Evening time tickets cost slightly more, however the views are worth it!
Attire: They will supply you with black shoe covers for the main exhibit. So if you’re going to show your shoes in pictures- plan accordingly.
Take your time: While they give you time slots to pace things out, you can only go through each room once, so be sure to take your time and really soak in the views. The entire experience took us around 2 hours.
